What is google alghorithms?

Google algorithms are complex tools for retrieving data from its search index and instantly delivering the best possible results to search queries. Search engines use a combination of algorithms and numerous ranking factors  to deliver webpage rankings.

In the old age of Google, there were only a handful of algorithms; now there are thousands of algorithms available in Google.

It’s been 10 years since Google introduced the algorithm tool Penguin. In 2012 Google officially launched the webspam algorithm. which mainly targeted spam links and manipulation link practices. The webspam algorithm was later called the Penguin algorithm.
